We're searching for a dynamic, highly motivated senior editorial lead with phenomenal ideas and a real passion for content to lead the Greater China App Store editorial team. As the head of Greater China App Store editorial team, you'll be the primary person responsible for the App Store editorial strategy and execution in Greater China. You will be collaborating with a wide array of World Wide and local teams responsible for design, content operation, localization, legal, product and business management.
You should have excellent communication skills to work across a complex matrix organisation, and should be able to build positive relationships with key partners to help deliver world-class editorial work and superb user experience.

Description
- Execute Editorial and Programming Strategy aligned with Global Editorial Strategy and Business Goals.
- Define editorial KPIs and grow the Greater China App Store Editorial performance to these KPIs.
- Develop large-scale creative merchandising campaigns with key apps and games partners.
- Assign, edit, and manage daily content including short-form write-ups, deep dives, developer interviews and long-form articles by staff and freelance writers.
- See original content and stories through from conception to final publish in collaboration with Design, Production, Video and Business teams.
- Act as an expert voice at Apple. If it’s a new app, game, business model or trend, you have an informed perspective on it.
- Correspond with developers and creative professionals who are part of app culture around business goals, campaign ideas, story pitches, and interviews.
- Travel within Greater China and abroad for Editorial training and leadership, as needed.
- Represent the App Store Editorial team at regional events, meet-ups and strategic meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years creating digital editorial content for diverse online audiences
- Deep passion for the Apple brand and Apple products, as well as strong curiosity for new technology
- Extensive experience and proven success in leading digital content teams of writers, curators, and programmers
- Proven success in delivering Editorial KPIs for engagement, efficiency, effectiveness, and overall customer value
- Proven success in managing deadlines and working effectively, under strict deadlines, with cross functional teams including Design, Production and Business
- Experience administering and following an Editorial Style guide
- Strong presentation and communication skills in both written and verbal form
- Mandarin and English fluency required
- BA/BS degree required
