We are searching for a talented junior Board Design Engineer, who seeks to design challenging boards with increasing complexity, combining high speed digital design, power and analog.
In your role as Apple Board Design Engineer, you will work as part of Apple’s storage team, in collaboration with experts from many disciplines.
Description
In this role you will be involved in HW design of a boards from the requirements stage to bringup, support and production.
Your tasks will include: requirements collection, design specificiations, circuit design, component selection, schematic capture, circuit simulations, accompany layout with PCB designer, documentation, acceptance test specification, bring-up, debugging in the lab and users support.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years of proven hands-on experience with high-speed, power and embedded system board design
- Experience making schematics and mixed signals PCB layout
- Hands on experience with standard lab equipment including scopes, logic and protocol analyzers
- Team player while capable of making independent decisions in own field of expertise
- Proactive, adapt to fast pace changes while not compromising on high quality deliveries
- B.Sc. in EE
