Key Qualifications

  • Strong background in Machine Learning
  • Experience with object detection and classification tasks
  • Excellent knowledge and good practical skills in major machine learning algorithms
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality ML models and computer vision algorithms
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Go, Swift or Objective-C
  • Experience with Python and major ML training frameworks
  • Ability to work independently as well as in multi-functional teams

Description

As a machine learning engineer you are excited to seek and tackle high impact problems using deep learning and large data sets. You will stay up to date with the latest research in detection, classification and metric learning and work with a team of highly qualified computer vision and machine learning specialists to develop innovative computer vision/machine learning systems in the area of visual search. You will be involved in all phases of model development including data analysis, prototyping, testing, deployment. This will give you the opportunity to deploy your models to millions of devices worldwide, as well as leverage our cloud based infrastructure for resource intensive tasks. Based in our growing location in Zurich, we work closely with teams across Apple worldwide. We are looking for passionate ML/Data engineers to join our agile development teams. You will have great technical skills, a drive for high quality software and the ability to innovate creative solutions. Communicating clearly and having the flexibility to learn new technologies, while continuously developing your skills will be key to your success. Education & Experience

MSc or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent proven experience.
