Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience
  • Expertise in one or more areas of calibration methodologies used in optics, display, motion sensing, or camera
  • Experience integrating cameras, displays, and motion sensors into consumer electronics products, with an understanding of optics/sensor/image pipeline is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in statistical concepts and familiarity with data analysis tools like: JMP/Mini-tab
  • Know-how of FMEA concepts for technology integration in system
  • Experience with data analysis tools like JMP or similar
  • Experience with prototyping/evaluating proof of concept system calibration techniques in lab environment
  • Detailed, disciplined, methodical approach, with good documentation habits
  • Great teammate with exceptional conversational & written communication, negotiation & presentation skills
  • Analyze volume data to guide engineering decisions
  • Scripting skills and understanding of low level software (firmware & drivers in C or C++) a plus


We are seeking a highly technical, motivated Systems Calibration Architect who is experienced with various calibration methodologies used in optics, display, camera, and motion sensing domains, with expertise in at least one of them. This individual must demonstrate deep understanding of system level impact on calibration choices and work with cross-functional professionals to determine the best solution for complex user facing features. Job responsibilities also include coordinating cross-functionally with the module/test engineering team for laying out the foundation of calibration and test methodologies to ensure manufacturability. This is a highly cross functional and interdependent role where you will be working with Product Design/Reliability/Software/Metrology/Operations partners on a regular basis. This role is can be considered for San Diego or Santa Clara Valley.

Education & Experience

MS (or PhD) in relevant field (EE, Physics, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics)
