Our teams collaborate with our partners to ensure they deliver the best customer experience when merchandising, demoing and selling Apple products that enrich the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world.
The South-East Asia Channel Sales team seeks an outstanding professional to lead the Data & Insight team. The team enables informed business decisions by running in-depth data analysis, delivering analytics and reporting solutions - including both traditional dashboards and scalable AIML platforms, , and setting up data governance frameworks.
The successful candidate will be innovative, challenge the status quo, bridge business and technology, and deliver a best-in-class experience to internal customers. Organizational maturity, project management skills, and cross-functional collaboration are key.

Description
- Partner with Sales leadership to define strategy & vision for the Data & Insight team in the areas of reporting, analytics and AIML
- Lead and develop a team of data analysts based in Singapore, providing guidance, support and mentorship
- Support business decisions by translating complex data insights into clear, actionable strategies
- Establish and manage pipeline of work for the team, and provide day-to-day coaching to produce high-quality results
- Contribute to day-to-day delivery:
- Lead and manage projects, including planning, coordination and stakeholders management
- Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business
- Design, develop and maintain web applications and scripts to enable high-quality insights and automation
- Engage regularly with business partners to understand opportunities and challenges, and with the Apple IT team to develop partnerships and keep on point on the latest in-house technology
- Define the South-East Asia Channel Sales AIML roadmap; build up capabilities within the team to implement
- Act as a liaison with WW teams to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing
- Own and manage portfolio of data management and sales ops processes run by the team; act as point of escalation for these processes
- Identify opportunities to automate sales processes to improve efficiency
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience in the consumer goods industry, ideally in the consumer electronics industry
- 10+ years of experience in data & insight, reporting, data analysis, business intelligence or similar positions - with 4+ years in a manager position
- Passion for phenomenal work, seeing potential and nourishing it, with a proven track record to influence both internal and external partners to drive the work forward
- Ability to prioritise, plan, delegate and implement strategies, programs and projects successfully
- Proven people management skills, building capabilities of individuals and team through effective employee development, involvement, communication and mentorship
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- In-depth experience with Tableau (including SQL)
- Experience with statistical tools and programming/scripting languages, such as Python or Scala
- Experience with UI/UX development, including data visualisation design
- Experience with data modelling, data pipelining and data services, eg. using Snowflake
- General understanding of the machine learning stack (data ingestion, preprocessing, model development and evaluation, deployment, monitoring and testing)
