We have an opportunity for an ambitious and very experienced Analog Design Engineer. We are looking for an Analog Design Engineer with validated and consolidated experience in the field of Power Management Circuits, who will enable us to design our next generation of PMU in close collaboration with the System and Platform Architecture teams. The responsibilities include contributing to key IP architecture definition as well as its implementation and verification. Support is also expected for prototype evaluation, production test and qualification.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+years relevant experience in the field
  • Proven track record of driving complex IPs into production
  • Deep knowledge of general transistor level design
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
  • - DC/DC converters
  • - Linear Regulators
  • - HV Design
  • - Audio and Power Management
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design
  • Experience in leading complex IP design
  • Project leading experience is a plus
  • Proven experience working with IC Production Test and Qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to collaborate
  • Ability to work well on a team, take responsibility, and motivate self and others


In this role, the key responsibilities are the following: - Drive the feasibility and the definition of key IP architectures including their specification for PMUs - Design, verification and layout supervision of best in class Power Management Circuits - Define DfT strategy and implementation for all blocks with a view of improving performance and test time - Verification planning including IP integration and simulation in the Top Level - Validation planning and lab design validation - Work with multi-functional teams across Apple, to support product development (Custom Layout, Digital Design and Silicon Validation) and mass production (Test, Quality and Productization) - Mentor junior design engineers

Education & Experience

Master degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
