Description

In this role you will work closely with different teams within our dynamic App Store team. You will build a scalable platform in the form of robust tooling for App Developers. Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of customer-facing features while encouraging a steadfast pursuit of quality, performance, and teamwork within your team. Drive collaboration across product design, business, and other engineering teams while building large, cross-functional features. Excellent written and interpersonal skills are a must, as well as in-depth experience developing large-scale web-based applications. We promote innovation and new technology to further improve Apple's user and developer experience. Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience, at least two of which are in a lead or management role - Experience working with and leading multi-functional technical teams
  • Strong object oriented design and analysis skills
  • Ability to write clear, concise, coherent code
  • Superb verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent judgment and integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

  • Experience working with a distributed service architecture
  • Experience with relational databases, JDBC, and object relational frameworks
  • Experience using NoSQL solutions
  • External systems integrations experience
  • Willingness to take ownership and set direction, especially in grey areas
  • Strong sense of individual responsibility
  • Ability to self-direct when vital, all the while supporting strong team dynamics - Ability to simultaneously collaborate with multiple teams and partner organizations
