The Talent Acquisition Leader is a partner and voice in Apple’s Retail Talent team. They are ambassadors for People and Retail’s mission, working across Apple's Talent Ecosystem, and in alignment with key People partners. Talent Acquisition Leaders (TALs) are experts and role models in all areas of recruiting. They identify, assess, and activate the selection of top talent, both internal and external, for current and future business needs. TALs lead the work for Leadership hiring, Internal and External, while communicating on behalf of Customer-Facing recruiting to Market Directors and Talent Team Leaders. They are advisors to Field leadership, partnering with Hiring Managers on delivering innovative and efficient hiring practices, selection, and mobility solutions. Talent Acquisition Leaders leverage external market expertise in balance with their internal company knowledge, to achieve the best results. Alongside other partners, who work on different hiring needs with the stores, TALs work across various attraction and acquisition specialists in the People Organisation, in order to support business needs. Essential to their effectiveness is establishing trusted relationships across the business, the Talent org, and most especially with candidates. These relationships will be earned by consistently delivering on commitments and by being known for high integrity and engagement.

Localize leadership hiring strategy in alignment with global recruiting message, tools, and practices Work with Field Leadership and Talent partners to define internal and external resourcing strategies Join in Succession Planning and Talent demand processes in order to assess opportunities and risks, identify business requirements for talent needs, and to develop the relevant pipeline Nurture close business ties and prioritize ongoing learning of Retail and Corporate competencies Partner with Global Talent Attraction, and support the teams on their sourcing & recruitment efforts Lead as Mobility key point of contact and subject-matter expert to candidates and their leadership Facilitate the process, communication and mobility of field leadership talent (including repatriation) through partnership with Apple’s Global Mobility team Prioritize projects and resources, and analyze key KPIs, ensuring performance standards are met Coach and build Field Leadership capability in Talent assessment and selection Maintain close ties to MD and Market Leaders, and act as strategic lead for Leadership and Customer-Facing Recruiting Inform Talent CoEs on local needs for continuous improvement of Recruiting tools and services Recruit regularly to ensure deep and ready pipeline of talent, and awareness of local labour and industry trends Prioritize an exceptional candidate experience, also for internal movements across Apple Leverage tools, systems and best practices to teach and guide others about recruiting at Apple Drive the use and full integration of Apple Talent Point into all TAL-specific recruiting activities Stay globally minded and widely connected, to support current needs and future opportunities Present external market movements and updates; using that information to drive talent strategy If applicable, manage a small team of Customer-Facing and Leadership Recruiters, in their process, performance, and partnership to the business If Applicable, lead Talent Acquisition team by example as a Recruiting expert and prioritise the team’s ongoing development

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years related HR or Recruitment Leadership experience preferred
