Key Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of working experiences with major Japanese retailers, preferably Convenience Stores
  • At least 10 years of working experience in the sales planning, account management or business development
  • Deep understanding and knowledge retail marketing
  • Sales planning and account management skill to drive sales
  • Demonstrated development of highly innovative new concepts and successful implementation
  • Japanese proficiency (Native level) and preferable business level written and verbal English

Description

As the Retail Lead Japan, you will work closely with our Country Head of Japan for iTunes & App Store Gift Cards to lead the business. You will also manage end to end communication and executions for key accounts with key business partners. The role will oversee management of one account manager supporting and managing some of the retail accounts in order to improve our sales and marketing opportunities. You will be responsible for leading new channel development projects and optimization of the existing portfolio. You will need to have great communication skills with very senior level external partners, and be continuously driving to innovate the current business environment. Internally, you will work with an international, cross functional team to drive projects and business deals. The role is both a leadership role but will also have hands-on management for critical key accounts, for which you’ll be expected to handle promotion and budget planning, implementation of product and marketing tools, and to identify and develop new sales and marketing opportunities.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
