Apple Japan is looking for a collaborative, highly organized professional for the position of EHS Safety Engineer to assist EHS manager in implementing EHS programs for our operations in Japan. You will have professional knowledge and experiences of chemical and mechanical safety engineering and risk assessment with thorough understanding of national and local legal requirements in Japan. You will preferably be a certified occupational health officer. Her/his demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence the internal customer is essential. This position will be responsible for the full implementation of EHS programs at the operational level by closely communicating with EHS manager.

- Implement chemical/mechanical safety programs that drive compliance with corporate EHS goals and objectives - Maintain the business operations in compliance with EHS- related national and local legal compliance through the evaluation of R&D workplace environments, and chemical/mechanical processes with a focus on continuous improvement - Provide hands-on EHS support to the business operation owners - Organize and facilitate health committee meetings - Assist EHS manager in communicating EHS program performance and status to management - Assist EHS manager in defining solutions that integrate corporate EHS policy into local facility operations - Assist EHS manager in implementing corporate EHS initiatives, including risk assessment, incident investigation, chemical management, robotics safety

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent, - Certified Health Officer (衛生管理者)
