Apple is looking for a collaborative, highly organized professional for the position of EHS Manager to develop and implement EHS programs for our business operations in South Korea, including Corp. offices and Retail stores. This person may extend the support to other regions when it requires. You will have a professional working knowledge of industrial hygiene controls, chemical safety management, environmental compliance, and occupational heath and safety requirements. You are required to have professional EHS experience in ISO14001/OHAS18001 management system and working knowledge of applicable local regulations and laws. A demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence senior management is essential. This position will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of compliance programs with a dynamic team in a high visibility environment.

Develop and direct programs that drive compliance with corporate EHS goals and objectives; Champion organizational compliance through the evaluation of workplace environments, equipment, and processes with a focus on continuous improvement; Define solutions that integrate corporate EHS policy into local facility operations; - Partner with Development, Preservation, Facility, HR/ER and Store/Corporate Leadership to develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and standards - Develop and manage the process for reporting, investigating and communicating accidents, hazards and concerns - Support store with emergency response preparation, including training and drills - Develop and implement training for all personnel to assure understanding of environmental health and safety programs Maintain positive relationships with EHS regulatory agencies for the facilities and manage permits, regulatory inspections, incident reporting and other aspects of program documentation as required; Develop and maintain a comprehensive H&S management program and H&S committees for the country in partnership with all stakeholders; Provide insight and advice on meeting the requirements of H&S for existing and emerging businesses; Actively involve in fire safety related requirements; Engage and collaborate with business partners to gain cross-functional support and leverage initiatives across divisions, including facilities, design and construction, security, procurement, legal, and human resources; You may be required to have periodic international travel to other Apple locations.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in EHS, chemical engineering or equivalent
