Apple’s Applications team builds apps that deliver great user experiences and respects the privacy of our users. Applications partners with Apple’s User Privacy team to ensure that user privacy is at the core of our products and services, and that we’re complying with our regulatory obligations. We are looking for candidates who share our passion for tackling privacy complexities head-on, to help design, build, scale, and continuously improve, industry-leading privacy programs. As the Applications Privacy Program Manager, you will work with teams across the Applications org to deliver processes, tools, products, infrastructure, and decisions that help us honor people’s privacy in everything we do.

Key Qualifications

  • 6+ years of work experience in consulting, business operations, technical program management or other operational disciplines with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale programs
  • Experience in process design and process improvement in a complex cross functional environment
  • Experience in one of the following: privacy & data protection, operational risk management, compliance, audit and implementation of control frameworks, privacy by design, information security, adversarial spaces, incident management or other related field

This position requires an individual with the following skillset: -Experience working in a technical environment influencing stakeholders and engineering teams. -Experience working with or in support of diverse communities. -Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision, but shows excellent judgment about when to look to managers and teammates for guidance, and when and how to communicate with diverse stakeholders. -Team player with a proven track record of building cross-functional relationships. -Detail and process oriented and enjoy problem solving. -Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. -Thrives in ambiguity and gets things done! -Passionate about privacy and Apple. -Experienced at influencing diverse partners and driving accountability and decision making across teams. -Solution-oriented, customer services, growth mindset and energy generator.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience
