As a Regional Supplier Manager, you engage with leading transport partners to deliver an outstanding experience to Apple’s customers in EMEIA. Managing the Supply Chain from OEM to end customer in EMEIA gives a wide scope to influence across all modes of transport. Description

Managing the operational relationship with our industry-leading transport providers Work closely with our internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer delivery experiences across the EMEIA region. Apply project management skills to deliver projects within the Supply Chain function. Ownership of key internal KPI’s, ownership of partner KPI’s and drive operational excellence within the Supply Chain Function. Manage a large spend portfolio and leading cost saving programmes across your provider base Work actively with providers on product portfolios, using the latest technology available to deliver industry leading delivery experiences – environmental / mode etc Manage data integrity flows between Apple and your provider Identifying and implementing standard processes across the provider base Ensuring security provisions are in place to minimise loss impact to our customers Collaborating with the Procurement team to ensure the provider contracts are appropriate for our business needs Excellent self-management and organizational skills; able to manage a varied workload, set/ respond to personal and team priorities and adjust as needed. Demonstrated ability to proactively identify issues and either resolve or escalate to the appropriate level for resolution. Demonstrated ability to lead significant change, will need to influence without authority. Be responsible for Logistics Supplier Providers (LSP) support of New Product Introduction planning and execution. Ensure relevant security procedures and lead times are adhered to prior/during launch Liaison between LSP, WW & Regional BPR/OEM to ensure improvement projects are supported and completed effectively and efficiently.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Comfortable leading the performance of external third party logistics providers.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies with ability to support the different phases of a project.
  • Analytical problem solver who is data driven, with a can-do attitude and flexibility to accommodate evolving business needs.
  • Strong communication skills and be able to articulate complex business and technical situations to a variety of audiences.
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and prioritise in order of impact
  • Thrive working both independently and as part of a team, in a very fast paced collaborative environment
  • Experience in delivering excellent results in a sophisticated supply chain
  • Results-orientated, taking on additional responsibilities when required to meet the goal
