The In Region EE HW Engineer, you will work on the next generation home/beats innovative products. You will be part of an extraordinary EE team, acting as the team’s local representation at manufacturing sites in China.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in design and development of high speed digital and/or analog boards and systems on consumer products.
- Must have a deep understanding of the system development process including concept creation, schematics and board development, as well as board and system bring up and debugging.
- Hands-on and proficient with lab equipment: digital multi-meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, oscilloscope, power supply, E-load, etc.
- Good communication skills with both English and Chinese for global teamwork.
- Should be well team work and accept mid/long-term travel in a changing work environment.
- Proven to be able to work independently under high pressure and comfortable working in dynamic environment.
- Software and scripting experience is a plus.
Description
The role involves working with manufacturing teams and RD colleagues to design, validate and optimize hardware circuits and systems on home/beats products from first prototype build to mass production, requiring proactive multi-functional collaboration with other engineering groups such as other EE teams, FW, production test etc.
Define and implement validation plans for HW Sub-system such as power DC-DC, I2C, USB, SPI, DDR etc. Debug and tackle hardware and interfaces. Make our excellent products even better!
A significant part of the job activities will take place at the manufacturing sites - international and domestic travel is likely.
Education & Experience
- BSEE required. MSEE preferred.
