As the Regional Lead for our Solutions and Consulting Engineers in South East Asia, you will lead, develop and grow world class expert team that solve technical and business problems to ensure success for Apple, our partners, and our customers. As a team of subject matter experts across countries in South East Asia, you and your team will provide technical pre-sales consulting with the goal of transforming the way people teach, learn, and work. Our team of Solutions Engineers help to ensure the technical integrity of platforms, solutions, and apps developed for our customers, to maximize the value of their investments in Apple products and services.
You will also be a critical part of the South Asia leadership team for business and education markets. You will work closely with worldwide and regional leadership, country teams, and be a thought leader to our strategic partners and alliances.
This position will be located in Singapore with a team located both in Singapore and across 6 countries in South East Asia.
We are looking for an exceptional leader who will:
- Lead and develop a team of senior solution and consulting engineers, focusing on developing strategies and plans to influence Enterprises and Governments to invest in Apple technology and at same time maximize the value for those investing in our technology.
- Represent Apple by engaging with key executive stakeholders at our major customers and partners. Develop and implement strategies to position Apple technology effectively, and cultivate and leverage a robust ecosystem of partners. Establish relationships and partner with executive leadership at our strategic partners and solution providers.
- Provide technical leadership and consulting to the Apple sales team, partners, and customers as you influence executives, faculty, and technical staff in a pre-sales capacity. Architect, validate, demonstrate, and sell complete Apple hardware, software, and services solutions.
- Represent and advocate SEA technical priorities to internal stakeholders across Product Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales and Services organisations, establishing yourself as an expert and partner in a global organisation.
- Quickly master technical concepts, processes, details, and skills, and effectively communicate to a wide variety of audiences.
- Provide encouragement and support to team members, including communicating individual and team goals, identifying areas for mentoring and guidance, and implementing development programs for the team to build vital skills and knowledge to achieve performance targets.
- Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles driving strategic technical consultancy to sales team, partners and customers
- At least 5 years of proven leadership experience managing senior-level teams, with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and innovation.
- Demonstrated experience leading pre-sales technical or engineering teams. Experience managing a remote/geographically dispersed team is a plus. Background driving performance across a large region, country, or functional area is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of end user computing and complex technical solutions for the Enterprise and Education market. Knowledge of Apple products including managing Apple devices with multiple Mobile Device Management solutions. Familiarity with Apple Business Manager, Apple School Manager, and zero-touch deployment and relevant certifications (e.g., ACSP, JAMF, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills. Ability to motivate and inspire others, articulate vision and purpose, and advocate for Appleʼs values.
- Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimise processes and create solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross- functionally, navigate organisational structures, and manage complex relationships
- Deep business acumen, strategic planning, and decision making skills; Forward-thinking mindset to analyse the market beyond the short term, foresee future possibilities, and translate data to plans, strategies, and action.
- Background from driving transformational change in both direct and channel sales is a plus
