We are seeking an Engineer in this growing team to continue building and maintaining these environments, and to add a new perspective in the next generation of building our learning environments.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of multi-site network management experience (large capacity WiFi, routers, switches)
  • Proficient in designing for- and managing of- many networking protocols such as UDP, TCP, IPv4 and v6, Bonjour/ZeroConf, Bluetooth
  • Experience with Aerohive/Extreme Networking Technologies is a plus
  • 3+ years cloud-based Unix server management experience
  • Experience in design, deployment and maintenance of macOS and Unix Server systems
  • Unix scripting language experience is mandatory, examples of server or client automation required (Bash/Perl/Chef/Puppet…)
  • Experience in client-management (macOS and iOS) technologies
  • Experience with JAMF MDM is a bonus
  • Creative problem-solving skills and an ability to apply business logic to client computer, network and audio-visual network requirements
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills to non-technical audiences
  • Appreciation for fundamental business objectives
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work without direct supervision
  • Experience with Crestron Audio Visual Networks will be a plus
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Ability to travel extensively nationally with occasional international travel


- Contribute to the definition of all technical requirements to meet and exceed client computing, audio-visual and network needs - Research, develop, implement, maintain and deliver training on new networking, client management and Audio Visual technologies - Conduct regular review meetings with Vendors, Clients and IT Staff - On-demand diagnosis, triaging and outlining of production issues across global sites - Tracking and reporting of solution component lifecycle, managing EOL components from proposal to support-handover - Architect creative solutions exceeding user expectations - Ensuring consistency with government policies, procedures, structure; applicable local, state and federal laws, codes, regulations and ordinances for data collection in various jurisdictions. - Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
