At Apple, we believe privacy is a fundamental human right. It is one of our core values, and we design our products and services to protect it. You'll be impacting the breadth of Apple's ecosystem by analyzing requests to collect, store, and use data and applying techniques to minimize how much of people's data Apple — or anyone else — can access. Working with some of the best engineers in the world, you’ll have a direct positive impact on the privacy of Apple’s products by evaluating how data will be used across Apple products, and partnering with engineering teams to apply privacy-preserving techniques.
Description
You’ll become part of an exceptional team focusing on privacy across Apple’s products and services. Partnering with Privacy Engineers and Legal partners, you’ll be working with a wide variety of teams. Your influence will be felt throughout Apple's products and services, such as the iPhone, Mac, Watch, Health, Siri, iCloud, and Apple Music.
You will be directly involved in building great features with strong privacy protections for multiple products and services. You will analyze analytics requests, schemas, and user studies against established privacy guidance and policies. You will identify and effectively communicate (both written and verbal) privacy risk as well as suggest mitigations and privacy techniques to minimize data collected. Additionally, you will contribute to policy guidance and drive efficiency in our processes. This position requires someone with strong technical strengths and a passionate desire to protect people's privacy by providing insightful analysis of the privacy risks of data collection, and proposing mitigations to reduce or eliminate those risks while still shipping great products.
