Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for a Senior leader of Digital Experience & Merchandising - Greater China, to help us do extraordinary things.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will help shape the future of the Apple Store Online’s digital marketing programs across Greater China with the primary objective of driving revenue and increasing reach. The individual will be responsible for supporting the execution and strategy development of two distinct marketing programs in Greater China - Paid Search and WeChat, with potential future expansion possible. The position is part of the Demand Generation team within the Apple Store Online organization and will work closely with internal partners locally, regionally and with WW teams.
Description
As Platform Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the flawless execution of all our marketing campaigns within China platforms across product and campaign launches throughout the year, making sure the work resonates locally and on-platform and ensures that we are delivering the best customer experience.
- Day to day management of marketing programs within platforms such as WeChat and Tmall, focused on driving full funnel outcomes across brand, campaign and product awareness, traffic and revenue for Apple.
- Represent Retail Demand Generation within the broader Retail campaign planning meetings with local and WW team members.
- Identify and drive any local initiatives that tackle local challenges or opportunities. Monitor activities against assigned revenue investments targets
- Develop and recommend new processes and procedures, while following and contributing to WW best practices
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including experience running marketing campaigns on Tmall, WeChat, Douyin
- High proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with strong cultural fluency to navigate local and global partner expectations effectively
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS in Marketing or equivalent experience, MBA/MA or advanced degree preferred
- Outstanding track record of profitably developing and implementing data-driven online marketing strategies
- Deep understanding of web analytics on platform like Adobe, Tableau and others
- Deep knowledge of marketing on platforms in China
- Data driven and passionately analytical, Excel power user
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and time management / prioritization skills
