The Supplier Clean Energy Program will help meet Apple’s 2030 carbon neutrality goal by transitioning our entire supply chain to clean energy. This transition hinges on our suppliers having access to cost-effective and high quality renewable energy.

Key Qualifications

  • You have strong experience arranging, negotiating, and closing renewable energy investments and financing transactions; experience in Asia is a plus
  • You have strong experience building and reviewing financial models, and performing due diligence, valuation and reporting
  • You have extraordinary program and project management experience, able to run and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse colleagues in an unstructured environment
  • You have the ability to influence; you are able to communicate technical information in a concise way to a non-technical audience, and able to explain complex transaction structures to new buyers
  • You have experience working in and building cross-functional teams, resolving issues and building consensus during the entire project lifecycle
  • You are self-motivated, pro-active, and a self-starter, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • You have a broad understanding of various renewable energy technologies, including engineering, economic and policy factors
  • You have a broad understanding of carbon markets, electricity market design and the underlying economic factors
  • East Asia language (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) skills are a plus


In this role, you will connect suppliers to high quality renewable energy projects and investment opportunities around the globe You will structure and execute on strategic deals in support of Apple’s supply chain emissions reductions across multiple technologies and geographies, including Asia You will analyze country-specific risks and returns of various renewable energy investment options available to Apple and its manufacturing partners You will lead the monitoring and internal reporting of the Clean Energy Program’s investment portfolio, with assistance from Apple Finance You will generate project pipeline and oversee the project due diligence process You will work with cross-functional energy, environmental, operations, procurement, finance, government affairs and legal teams to champion, drive, and coordinate supplier renewable energy projects and deals

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree. Advanced degree in management science, Finance, Business, Economics or project management with 3+ years of professional experience is a plus
