As an Online Commercial Business Intelligence Manager for Apple Retail Online, you will be part of an extraordinary team of Digital specialists that is responsible for all Commercial business strategies in the Apple Online Store. You will be deeply committed to help drive business decisions that is demonstrated from an in-depth understanding of data across the APAC region, which includes Greater China, ANZ and Rest of APAC. You will work closely with our Regional commercial and business managers, as well as cross-functional teams across Retail to deliver high quality reports and insights, applying sophisticated data management techniques to build cases and forecast for the business over time, especially during key Campaign moments. In this role, you will need to be creative and meticulous to conduct market analysis, define business problems and opportunities, and ultimately provide solutions that will help plan and strategise the way forward. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of proven experience in analytics and business strategy
  • Driven self starter; Inclination for problem-solving; Strong mathematical attitude
  • Critical thinking; Ability to write comprehensive insights
  • Ability to design rich data visualizations in Tableau to communicate complex ideas.
  • Experience with web analytics tools like Adobe or Google Analytics
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Strong in Keynote
  • Strong command of English (2nd language would be a plus), both written and spoken


- Drive strategic projects, working cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities, and develop solutions and concrete recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process - Develop and implement regular reporting of key performance metrics including sales metrics, forecasting models, marketing and campaign performance. - Support the Promo team in structuring and planning Campaign/ Events, and forecasting supply/ demand trend, producing high-level financial analysis for due diligence - Engage in key strategy and transformation initiatives and support the various Online Business teams in developing justifications and sound business cases for Leadership approval - Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock sales opportunities or accelerate growth - Monitor existing strategic initiatives and prepare reporting, as well as monitor performance of on-going pivotal initiatives

Education & Experience
