Our responsibilities encompass the frameworks, developer tools, and hardware drivers for the GPU and Display devices for all of Apple’s hardware.

Description

The Apple Silicon GPU Driver Scheduler Team is looking for a software engineer to define and implement policies and algorithms to efficiently schedule graphics and compute workloads on Apple Silicon GPUs. We are seeking an individual with curiosity and passion to learn and innovate. As a key member of our team, you will work on low-latency, high-throughput and QoS-aware scheduling techniques to ensure both UI responsiveness and great performance across our product line. You will partner with world-class teams across Apple software and hardware organizations to develop and integrate key technologies to improve the graphic and compute potential for Apple products across a wide variety of applications from games to machine learning and image processing. Minimum Qualifications

  • Good programming with knowledge of C or C++
  • Good software design and debugging skills
  • Operating systems and/or scheduling policies knowledge
  • Understanding of systems architecture
