Reporting to the Tax Director, Asia Pacific Tax, this is a contract position for 12 months to cover tax strategy, advisory and projects for Apple’s South Asia business.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years tax experience in Corporate and Transaction Taxes. Experience in a fast-moving multinational company for at least last 3 years preferred.
  • Proven self-starter, proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment without close supervision and respond quickly to requests from management and business units.
  • Proven ability to manage projects to closure with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong tax research skills and able to provide tax recommendations on complex and ambiguous issues considering commercial requirements.
  • Ability to create financial models of impacts of actual or proposed tax legislative or regulatory changes.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, oral and written communication skills.

Description

- Tax planning support (covering both direct and indirect taxes) for Apple’s business in South-East Asia, including gathering tax requirements and validating compliance on such projects. - Assist in managing tax authority relationships, including supporting any tax audits or queries. - Collaborate with Government Affairs, Legal and others key business partners. - Advise and work with Global Tax and other regional Tax teams on global projects. - Provide meaningful updates to management, as well as timely analysis and advice with respect to actual or proposed tax legislative or regulatory changes that might impact the business.

Education & Experience

Degree in Accounting, CPA or Chartered Accountant.
