Such initiatives involve multiple systems and require complex testing activities across the AppleCare organization and beyond. The AppleCare Business Process Reengineering team has an immediate opening for a System Quality Management Data Readiness Lead to plan, strategize, and manage Test Data across complex AppleCare programs, such as the multi-year SAP Landscape Modernization Program. You will work alongside Systems Quality PMs, Project PMs, Business & IS&T teams to lead the planning, strategizing, preparation, managing, and distributing Test Data. You will also be responsible for resourcing, test data execution management, issue resolution, and progress reporting of Test Data Activities across business and technical groups on the program. Your knowledge of industry best practices for Test Data Management(TDM) will help evolve how we approach Test Data Planning, Preparation, and Management.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Test Data Management Experience
  • Experience with Testing and QA methodologies.
  • Ability to develop technical expertise and understanding of system interdependencies and their impacts on Test Data
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
  • Ability to abstract technical details and effectively communicate to audiences at different levels
  • Excellent listening, communication, leadership, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal partners. Proficient at balancing multiple efforts at a time.
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity to clarify objectives and execution plans
  • Exemplify flexible thinking, curiosity, self-motivation, dedication to quality, focus on the details, and a positive perspective.
  • Experience with SAP, PLM, and experience migrating from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA is desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Description

Quality Advocate who will collaborate with internal teams, partners, IS&T, System Quality Project Managers, and the vertical leads of the S/4 Hana Program to Plan and Strategize Test Data. Define data types & requirements for the AppleCare Organization. Analyze testing requirements, designing and developing supporting tools and automation for test data. Implement Test Data Management processes and solutions by outlining data requests & support models. Develop strategies and tools to create or generate test data sets that accurately represent real-world scenarios and map to our test cases. Define and implement test data quality checks to ensure the test data's integrity, accuracy, and consistency. Identify and resolve data issues or anomalies impacting the testing process or results. Establish processes and tools for managing test data throughout the testing lifecycle, including data provisioning, refreshes, and version control. Ensure Data alignment across boundary systems. Collaborate with the testing team to ensure timely availability of test data and resolve any data-related issues. Establish and enforce data governance practices for test data management, including access controls, retention policies, and usage guidelines. Collaborate with internal data teams to align with organizational data management standards. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test data sets, including their sources, characteristics, and usage instructions. Document any data transformation or preparation steps to facilitate data reuse and knowledge sharing. Effectively communicate with project team, including project managers, business users, and technical teams, to provide updates on test data readiness, address concerns, and manage expectations. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies while handling sensitive data. Implement appropriate data masking, anonymization, or obfuscation techniques to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive data. Continuously evaluate and improve the test data readiness processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
