A critical leadership role within the Merchandising and planning group for Accessories/Merchandising in Apple Retail, this role will lead development and implementation of planning and merchandising strategies contributing to Apple’s business growth across APAC : GC and RPAC Geos. The role will also play a critical path in development of key cross functional team strategies within greater APAC to support the unique needs of these high growth geos. Other key responsibilities include business analysis, partnership and planning categories with Cupertino and forecasting revenue and opportunities for all stores within Asia Pacific. Working closely with a dynamic, cross-functional, worldwide centralised planning and merchandising team in Cupertino, CA, this role will be instrumental in partnering with the center on creative new category opportunities to support unprecedented growth for the Accessories business. Leadership role expectations also include support in managing Apple Branded and 3PP product life cycles, partnership with the centralised team to develop exclusive products in the 3PP space to drive an enhanced ecosystem experience, as well as managing a local team to implement and execute the greater planning and merchandising strategies. Also critical to this role is the leadership of implementation of visual presentation in the Product Zone to ensure executional excellence for all hero visual programs. Key cross functional responsibilities include direct liaison and partnership with executive and local field leadership to drive incremental growth through planning and execution of product category representation in stores. The role qualifications also includes the ability to build relationships across a dynamic cross functional teams in our geo offices. This leader will be responsible for a team that will work closely with centralised leadership to build a dynamic growth plan for Asia Pacific stores. This is an extremely fast paced, demanding and highly dynamic role and environment. This leader will be able to establish partnership, credibility and and influence and drive results throughout an organisation at all levels.

Description

- Drive Apple product sales throughout the region through enhanced in store product positioning and execution - Lead and execute products and placement plan with cross functional teams to ensure all aspects of expectations are delivered to the highest standards - Partner on sales analysis, program analysis to partner on category growth opportunities - Develop relationships with senior field and online leadership to drive success of Apple Product focuses and 3PP opportunities - Plan and execute universal merchandising strategies to drive profitability and local country store performance through sales analysis and recommendations to Cupertino - Partner with supply chain and Cupertino finance to better project forecasting, supply and in-store product availability - Partner with worldwide Cupertino product planning and merchandising team to understand local trends, sales, competitive landscape and opportunities - Develop global relationships across key Apple partners inclusive of Field executive leadership, online leadership and market support teams. - Understand and track competitor activity and market share of Apple in the extended geo reporting back to Cupertino to better understand and evaluate local sales growth opportunities. - Act as liaison between store team and other Market support teams, develop relationships at all levels including Store, Market Leaders, Market Directors and Sr. Market Directors in each geo.

Education & Experience

BS/BA required MBA preferred
