Apple's App Store is the world's largest and most innovative software store, serving hundreds of millions of iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch and Mac customers. The App Store team is seeking a talented and results-oriented individual to join our team focusing on subscriptions and memberships services. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge in all aspects of subscriptions. The candidate will work closely internal business, product and operation teams to help developers build and grow successful app businesses using subscriptions while providing amazing experiences for our mutual customers.

Key Qualifications

  • Demonstrated hypothesis-driven problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize actionable solutions from quantitative analysis and qualitative research
  • Deep curiosity about consumer technology, digital media and apps
  • Strong quantitative analytics skills, with expertise in Excel/Numbers; experience with statistical software packages or programming a plus
  • Strong presentation skills and a track record of delivering persuasive, impactful proposals in Chinese and English are required
  • Outstanding relationship management skills and ability to foster strong internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Description

Help apps & games developers identify opportunities to integrate and optimize a subscription business model In partnership with business managers, work closely with developers to optimize their subscriptions service and business Work closely with internal product, engineering and operations teams to make feature and product recommendations to improve subscriptions feature set and cater to local market needs Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders: Apple’s Worldwide Developer Relations, Worldwide Product Marketing, App Store and iTunes teams Prepare and present presentations to executives and other internal teams This position is based in Shanghai or Beijing

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree in Business or related, MBA or equivalent degree preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in subscription marketing, product management or related business field over the entire spectrum of the customer lifecycle: acquisition, retention, engagement, and win-back
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize actionable insights from data and industry sources, and package those insights into persuasive, impactful proposals to influence new strategies
  • Strong knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and competitor strategies
