You'll have the ability to develop and lead a team of Program Managers in support the completion of key projects with a focus on Supply Chain & Production Operations Management. You are responsible for providing appropriate written and verbal communications to the Senior Management team on area status and issues. Integrates well with peers to lead the department towards the yearly goals. Provides oversight of a global (or Regional) portfolio of projects within a given business process discipline. You should have the ability to manage medium to large size teams. Function as a Program Manager or Individual Contributor in times of team resource constraints.

Description

The essential duties of this position include: - Manages, plans and develops team activities in support of track/area project portfolio - Employee development, mentoring, and guidance - Acts as point of issue critical issue for the team - Assigns personnel to work on project teams while stabilizing business needs and expectations - Communicates team / portfolio status on a regular basis to Senior Management - Conducts weekly portfolio priority meetings - Able to work with Apple’s Manufacturing Partners when issues arise to provide quick and robust solutions - Develops and provides communications during the resolution of key issues within the track/area - Partners with IS&T to ensure that Apple’s Manufacturing Partners are prepared for growth with a robust infrastructure - Communicates with customers and partners to ensure quality of product and service provided by the team - Prioritizes and delegates key project tasks to team members - Provides customers and partners with alternatives when key problems surface - Leads brainstorming sessions related to BPR Departmental tools and process improvements - Assists in the development of strategy for their particular business track / area - Assists business units in crafting quality BHU Documents in support of strategy roadmaps - Acts as an ambassador for the BPR Department with other Departments within Apple - Acts as a liaison between the business and IS&T to ensure business project needs are adequately met with technology solutions - Maintains a global/regional resource plan within a given business track or area - Provides consulting expertise through effective communication to customers, partners, management, staff and peers to ensure expectations are met

Education & Experience

Bachelor/Master degree, with a technical major, such as engineering, computer science or similar preferred, equivalent work experience will be considered.
