As the Product Manager, you will be the champion of Apple’s product lines, responsible for championing Greater China requirements, executing successful product launches and providing comprehensive market analytics, insights and recommendations in your area of expertise. As region expert for the above areas, you will work closely with the various teams in GC marketing, stakeholders in Greater China and with worldwide Product Marketing in Cupertino to prioritize these region-unique requirements for future products. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong passion for Apple products, a strong interest and solid understanding of the smart devices space and the emerging smart home ecosystem and related services in Greater China. In addition, you need to have a solid understanding of marketing, the finesse of marketing innovative products as well as business and customer insights that help inform business decisions.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, preferred but not limited to mobile and consumer electronics, software and internet services
  • Knowledge of local consumer behaviors, competitive products, services and the smart devices landscape in China
  • Curiosity, passion for excellence and be able to ask the right questions
  • Technical fluency and the ability to translate features into consumer benefits is mandatory
  • Possess expert knowledge of competitive and 3rd party products and strategies
  • Hands on, attention to detail, strong team player
  • Excellence in presentation, spoken and written skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Flexibility to travel (25-30%)


Provide product leadership from introduction through end-of-life to both the marketing and sales organizations Drive the definition of broad, complex and innovative products for the Greater China. Collect customer and partner requirements for future product development Work closely with worldwide product leads to champion Geo requirements that will deliver a locally relevant, differentiated and holistic customer experience on the product and a seamless experience when using features across different Apple products Closely follow the product category landscape, emerging and new technologies, consumer and societal trends, competitive products, making recommendations for how products will leverage or fit into those emerging trends Work closely within Product Marketing team and with Marcom, PR and other teams for successful product launches Develop and deliver product briefings to regional media Provide feedback to local management and Cupertino teams. Articulate issues and make clear recommendations Create and deliver formal presentations and lead group discussions on products for a broad range of Apple audiences

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree MS/MA/MBA, preferred but not conditional
