Siri provides features that ship to hundreds of millions of customers around the world that support Apple hardware products. APAC regions have very important markets with unique user habits and needs, and Siri is working hard to cater to those users. We're looking for a great performer to lead and communicate on the product road mapping and strategy development for APAC regions. You will have a broad understanding of, and deep insights in the needs and social habits of users in focus markets i.e. Japan and Hong Kong, have an eye for product and design, with top-notch skills and rich experience setting a vision, telling great stories, and conducting the right presentations to executives. As a part of our team, you'd be responsible for forming a product strategy and building a multi-year roadmap, and for ensuring that engineering teams and non-engineering stakeholders are convinced and excited to implement the strategy.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years in product management, market analysis, user studies for internet products, especially AI products and speech services
  • Proven track record in leading and delivering product and/or service strategy for a broad suite of feature offerings that form a coherent brand-name service
  • Skills and experience in using BI to assist in driving product decisions
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of an organization, especially to senior executives and non-engineering stakeholders
  • Interpersonal communication skills with expertise distilling complicated technical topics to a broader audience
  • Great skills in cross-functional, multi-language based collaboration between engineering and non-engineering functions such as marketing, legal, developer relationship, and local regulatory and standards
  • Innate drive to improve how things work, strong technical skills with an eye for design and user experience
  • Deep understanding of China user needs and market trends, and the landscape of AI and machine learning technologies and areas of applications
  • Fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English is a must; Chinese language skills are a huge plus
  • Prior experience working on speech and natural language products is highly desired


- Lead Siri roadmap and strategy development, targeted at but not limited to users in Japan and Hong Kong in APAC regions - Collaborate with Siri local engineering, EPM, and design teams to align on the plan Successfully develop user-profiles and target market segmentation to accurately position Siri in the regions - Assess product gaps in region vs. competition - Define and highlight market differentiators in our products with respect to local competition - Build a portfolio framework and storyline to anchor feature planning at each release - Co-develop user scenarios and product requirements for feature planning and execution - Own and deliver the strategy and time-boxed roadmap to executives, central product marketing, developer relationship, and obtain their support - Drive user studies, market perception research, competitive analysis, market opportunity analysis, so that the strategy is solidly justified - Be a great communicator and listener to gain endorsement from Siri executives, and from local stakeholders - Be a first-class partner and negotiator with developers to understand their needs and take their asks as input to our road mapping - Be the voice and the champion of the end-users and our developers - Build strong relationships across Apple and facilitate communication between cross-divisional groups

Education & Experience
