Apple’s Marketing team is looking for a thought leader in Market Research to support its consumer survey and insights needs in China and a few other markets. This position is responsible for developing research and working with other research members locally and worldwide to deliver insights and inform business decisions. We’re looking for a practitioner who understands research methodologies, is an expert in consumer research as well as has extensive experience with translating data into actionable insights and linking it to business issues. The candidate should have a proven track record in analyzing consumer behaviors and have solid writing and presentation skills. Key success factor in this role is the ability to design, oversee and utilize research programs to timely capture consumer voice and address unique business challenges.

Key Qualifications

  • 8+ years of demonstrated success in customer insights / marketing research in a consumer technology / consumer products company or market research firm
  • Deep expertise with application of a broad range of consumer research techniques and methodologies
  • Comprehensive experience in research project and agency management
  • Extremely strong communication (English and Chinese), visualization and articulation skills to deliver meaningful insights to shape business decisions
  • Curiosity, passion for understanding people and societal trends, and passion for excellence
  • A strong record of academic achievement

Description

Partner with various functional teams to identify the key business issues and develop research programs that delivers compelling insights and provide thought leadership Collaborate closely with other members in research team on various projects Manage project execution or work together with research team for primary research Communicate and deliver meaningful research results to key stakeholders Bring innovation to the research projects including recommend relevant alternative approaches and bring the research to the next level

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree required, graduate degree in market research or human behavior, sociology or statistics related field preferred
