The Recruiter is specifically focused on the recruiting of Non-Leadership Talent hired into Apple. This role is a member of Apple’s People organisation, with an incredible opportunity to hire the world- class employees that deliver on our Credo and Business objectives for the communities that we serve. The Recruiter is an expert in identifying and accessing fresh talent, and leading exceptional journeys that match candidates to Apple careers. Recruiters lead the work for Non-Leadership hiring, working with Attraction Manager, Non-Leadership Recruiting Leader and other People Partners to execute hiring strategies by using company tools, processes, and competencies for support. They are deeply customer focused, and they work in both current and future state situations, in order to meet changing and evolving business needs. The Recruiter reports into a Non-Leadership Recruiting Leader. Retail Recruiting is a centrally-designed team, based globally between 3 key GEOs : AMR, EMEIA, and APAC. This team meets business demands by flexing an agile service delivery to drive efficiency, flexibility, and quality at scale. Retail Recruiting partners with the business to ensure internal and external experiences meet Apple standards. The Recruiter sits on this team and drives Non-Leadership hiring for both Retail and the customer-facing roles in other parts of the organisation. Where applicable, Recruiters may be asked to provide sourcing support alongside their recruiting work, in order to meet business needs for pipeline. The Recruiter may be asked to support leadership hiring needs through sourcing, attraction, or managing a candidate through the process. The terms of this work and other related efforts would be decided on a case-by-case basis.

Key Qualifications

  • Experienced in developing and delivering effective recruiting strategies
  • Expertise in end-to-end recruiting in a high volume environment
  • Sound and objective talent assessment skills through use of company hiring tools and resources
  • Skilled at negotiation and delivering successful outcomes for all sides
  • Organised and able to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines
  • Self motivated and comfortable working with remote teams
  • Self-aware and connected with own personal working style and habits
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Experience or understanding of retail and recruiting
  • Skilled at Training and Facilitation, prior experience with translation is desirable


Manage external and/or internal recruiting journey for Non-Leadership positions in partnership with the Regional Recruiting Leader Champion and protect an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process Leverage Retail Credo and role-specific competencies in talent decisions Support the development of an internal hiring culture through close collaboration with field partners Interview and assess talent for key Customer Facing roles in collaboration with field teams Facilitation of hiring events and providing translation support during the hiring process Drive and maintain candidate pipeline and readiness by leveraging various attraction initiatives including university, diversity, and other outreach campaigns Measure performance through weekly reporting and analytics of headcount changes, in order to support Talent decisions in the market, and drive continuous improvement Join business calls, meetings and communications, to stay informed of business priorities Drive readiness in the business to explore new approaches to recruiting, and hire from increasingly Diverse talent pools Participate in routine discussions with Retail Recruiting Leader to strategies and plan immediate and long term talent needs Partner closely with wider Recruiting team, communicating regularly in order to understand Recruiting resourcing and strategies, and their ability to meet business demands Inform stakeholders on changes in recruitment industry trends and opportunities Build and maintain strong relationships and strive for timely and impactful communication for candidates, hiring managers, and business partners Educate field leadership on available systems, tools, and processes to ensure effective hiring results and a positive candidate journey Responsible for the use and full integration of Apple Talent Point into all Recruiting-specific activities Understand and adhere to HR guidelines and principles as it pertains to acquisition Maintain flexibility to deal with ambiguity and the evolving needs of the business

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and 5-7 years’ equivalent recruiting experience

  • Native Chinese Speaker and English is a prerequisite
