The Greater China Sales Finance team manages all sales finance activities for Apple’s indirect channel businesses in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The team forms part of a dynamic Worldwide Sales Finance organization, aligned by process tracks which are run locally, but with a strong alignment to global process ownership. The key process tracks include Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Demand Forecasting & Analytics (DFA), Route To Market (RTM) Finance, and Product (iPhone, iPad, Mac) Finance. This position is based in Beijing.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or other related fields
  • Ideally have at least 5 years experiences in the field of financial analysis or business analysis, preferably in the communications or FMCG industries or high-tech sector relating to hardware.
  • Strong analytical capability with attention to details
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate and react to frequently changing business conditions with proven ability to perform under tight deadlines
  • Fast learning ability
  • Excellent Excel & general systems skills required
  • Fluent in mandarin Chinese and English.

Description

Greater China Sales Finance, FP&A-Revenue team focus on overall product T&C, Channel Rebate forecasting, reporting and analysis; responsible for quarter-end revenue closing and reporting to WW Sales Finance; and ensure SOX compliance on Revenue Recognition. This is a good opportunity for you to get a high level understanding of reseller channel rebate structure, enhance analytical skills, and contribute for WW URM process. • Understand GC channel rebate structure, lead performance rebate end to end process (forecasting, accrual, payout) • Deeply understand product T&C from upfront margin to backend margin, perform product annual T&C review • Prepare sales adjustment forecast, provide meaningful analysis to management team and WW Sales Finance team. • Generate ad hoc management reports for executive reviews • Lead process improvement, simplification to drive productivity and improve forecast accuracy • Support the rollout of WWSF systems and initiatives • Ensure and strengthen SOX control and compliance on Revenue Recognition cycle. • Key interaction teams: Apple GC Sales team, WW Sales Finance team and local GBS team.

Education & Experience

BS/BA in Finance, Accounting or other relevant field strongly preferred.
