The Apple Media Products Discovery Fraud and Live Moderation team is responsible for protecting the integrity of Apple services. As a manger in the team, you will lead a group of analysts helping to protect customers from exposure to spam, offensive content, malware, fraud, and scams.

Key Qualifications

  • 2-4+ years of management experience in a high tech, fast-paced environment
  • Results-oriented, persistent, and meticulous
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement when dealing with potentially volatile partner/customer issues
  • Comfortable with a deadline-driven work environment
  • Adept at managing a variety of responsibilities and high volume of information
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English is required
  • Background in fraud investigations
  • Significant experience with SQL / Hive is a requirement
  • Proficiency in Python is a plus
  • Proficiency in TeraData is a plus


In this role, you will lead a team within the Apple Media Products Live Moderation group, that works alongside discovery fraud analysts and data scientists to evaluate and take action on signs of fraud, abuse, and manipulation Managers in this role are integral to the worldwide customer experience of all Apple Media Products and are able to provide valuable insights to a variety of teams across Apple, ultimately affecting support policies, operational processes, and product direction Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Day-to-day management of a team of analysts; including coaching, scheduling, providing feedback & support, issue resolution and work product oversight to ensure the overall team’s success Analyzing data for the purposes of risk mitigation using multiple internal tools for investigations Consistently exercising sound judgement to identify potential problems and provide solutions Participating in and / or leading projects to enhance tools and features Working with teams across Apple to drive projects that ensure a positive customer experience. Developing and maintaining an efficient and effective team The position requires excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, and ingenuity in solving problems. The candidate must also be prepared to work with minimal supervision while managing a variety of responsibilities.

Education & Experience

BA/BS or equivalent experience
