The role you’re looking at is part of the Marketing Communications (Marcom) group at Apple. Our team works to ensure that the company’s strategic products are conveyed in the most compelling way to a wide array of audiences in multiple markets and languages across Europe. Within Marcom, the Channel team owns the flawless execution of all advertising, marketing and experiences in the channel. The primary responsibility of the Channel XF Lead role is to drive integration and cross functional output across the three primary teams in Channel: Platforms, Channel XF localisation and Channel XF origination. The Channel X Functional Origination team is leading strategy, creative and delivery of all origination projects across Europe. The Channel X Functional Localisation team is responsible for localisation and delivery of channel assets in product launch and sustain briefs across all Europe. The Channel Platforms team ensures that Apple’s in-shop fixture programs are implemented with excellence across multiple store types and markets. Key Qualifications

  • Experience managing a talented team of people and the ability to lead, manage, and motivate.
  • Excellent leadership skills to drive a culture of teamwork and collaboration, respecting different perspectives and encouraging innovation in pursuit of the best approach or idea.
  • Leading inclusively and developing talent to deliver great impact through the work.
  • Extensive experience in brand communications, digital (ATL & BTL) and a deep understanding of full spectrum communications across omnichannel touchpoints, including shopper marketing and in-store retail.
  • Understanding and curiosity in the consumer journey, and its opportunity to drive connected creative ideas and RTM strategies. Experience of delivering successful ideas and campaigns that demonstrate this.
  • A strong, strategic thinker, capable of influencing senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Capable of decoding creative work quickly to feedback real time on partners ideas and creative concepts.
  • Passion and eagerness to develop and implement best-in-class marketing campaigns with external partners.

Description

As our channel landscape becomes more vital in Apple’s growth story than ever, it’s crucial we galvanise our channel team to drive for excellence. There is an emerging need to capitalise on local opportunities to develop in store comms or x functional comms and tactics that bring to life local market insights. We have established, deep functional teams with experts that operate autonomously. The opportunity is to steer integrated and cross functional thinking, innovation and customer journey thinking between the three channel teams, defining clear goals and objectives, as well as showing how to drive integrated comms projects as an output. This will require close understanding of each of the team’s deliverables and operating models, as well as understanding what cross functional efforts can result in. The Channel XF Lead will also ensure alignment with our Partner Comms teams to identify key opportunities for creative and campaign development. Beyond this, it will be vital for the individual to forge and drive strong relationships with Sales, Brand, Product Marketing and our colleagues at global HQ.
