The Apple Retail team is seeking an exceptional Go-to-Market Commercial manager to support and develop the end-to-end China commercial strategy, driving transformative growth across some of Retail’s most critical markets.
In this role, you will leverage a deep understanding of retail trends, consumer insights, and the unique dynamics of China to develop and execute impactful strategies that accelerate growth and innovation for Apple Retail.

The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in hardware sales and a proven track record of navigating the wireless carrier ecosystem to deliver measurable business results.
As the China Commercial Manager, you will support the development and execution of the commercial growth plan for Apple Retail (Online and Stores) in the assigned countries. Success in this position requires in depth market analysis, strategic thinking, strong collaboration across teams, and the ability to translate insights into innovative growth initiatives and results.
- Develop Commercial Strategy: Design and implement go-to-market strategy and commercial plans for Retail, focusing on Marketing, Merchandising, Affordability, Promotions, and Fulfillment to meet business objectives.
- Customer Insights: Analyze Country-specific trends, customer behaviors, and carrier sales dynamics to recommend and launch effective campaigns and commercial programs that drive growth and engagement.
- Business Analysis and Reporting: Deliver actionable insights on market and business performance to Retail leadership, highlighting opportunities and key trends.
- Innovative Growth Initiatives: Manage the ideation and development of new business concepts, managing the process from idea generation to securing leadership approvals and working with cross-functional teams to implement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in commercial strategy, go-to-market planning, or retail business management.
- Proven ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and business performance to develop actionable strategies. Deep understanding of the consumer electronics market, competitive dynamics, and channel strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams without direct authority. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and executive presentation skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin: Chinese language proficiency
- Experience in the Chinese Retail Market: Knowledge of China's retail landscape, including consumer behavior and regulatory environment, is beneficial.
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Familiarity with digital marketing strategies, particularly in e-commerce and social media platforms relevant to China, could be advantageous.
- Data Analytics Proficiency: Skills in data analysis tools and methodologies to extract insights from large datasets, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Innovation and Creativity: Ability to think creatively and innovate, particularly in developing new business models or marketing strategies.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing complex projects, including cross-functional collaboration and timeline management.
