Education Customer Success Program Lead (Japan)

Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. Our Education Sales team is here to grow Apple’s Education business through partnering with our business channel resellers, partners, and carriers while helping schools and institutions to improve student and teacher outcomes.
Our WW Education Customer Success Programs team is responsible for leading the strategy and enablement of WW programs that support the needs of our education customers as well as help drive strong business growth. You will partner with our global Apple education teams as well as our Japan education team to strategize, develop and implement locally relevant customer success programs. This is a highly strategic role which requires working across complex business and education environments, being comfortable with ambiguity, and making effective decisions.
You will be responsible for driving strategies that support both WW and local priorities. Your core focus will be to oversee the Apple Professional Learning (APL) and Apple Distinguished School (ADS) programs in Japan.
In this role, you will:
- Implement a locally relevant APL strategy, aligned to the business needs of the Japanese sales teams and supporting our WW approach to APL.
- Drive high quality educator use of the Apple ecosystem utilising Customer Success Programs to achieve this.
- Design, write, edit, and evaluate professional learning content and training for educators, sales teams, channel, and partners who sell and deliver professional learning on behalf of Apple
- Work alongside the WW team and local sales team to implement and manage the WW ADS program for Japan
- Partner with the local Japan sales team to help identify future ADS and to provide development opportunities for our existing ADS community.
- Ensure our Japan Customer Success communities are well connected globally and benefiting from the collaboration and networking opportunities.
- Provide our sales teams, channel, and partners the tools and training required to enable them to be successful with our Customer Success Programs. Be a conduit between channel, APL and Apple Education Ecosystem - - - - Partners to provide better solutions to education institutions.
- Implement and support a nationwide Apple Authorised Training Centre for Education (AATCe) strategy.
- Work alongside the WW Customer Success team to develop resources, playbooks as well as design new experiences to continually improve our support to these communities.
- Provide support on a needs basis to other WW teams and in-country teams to ensure success of other large scale Apple deployments.
- Maintain a deep functional expertise of the local and global education market and respective channel and partner competitive landscape.
- Stay up-to-date on and apply best practices in educational technology, learning theory, and instructional design.
- Typically requires minimum of 5+ years of related experience
- Significant experience as an educator and/or related role focused on marketing educational technology
- Creative and authentic storyteller with exceptional writing, editing, and design skills Strategic thought leadership with understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing education globally and expertise on how technology can help address these problems.
- Experience developing original content, presentations and collateral to promote programs, initiatives, resources
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education
- Fluency in Japanese and English
- Leadership experience and the ability to deeply understand and empathize with the opportunities and challenges of leadership is highly preferred
- Deep knowledge of the Apple education ecosystem and high level of proficiency with Apple products and services is a plus
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
- Project management experience to oversee and manage multiple work-streams, while also demonstrating execution excellence in the results.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to gain alignment on program objectives and priorities with senior leaders
- Experience collaborating on global projects
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Education is a plus
