Apple’s Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products
and services. This in turn enriches the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales
team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our customers.
In this role you will build the Route-To-Market (RTM) strategy with the country manager and the team, including coverage plans, breakthrough strategies, and innovative solutions to solve challenges to achieve sales targets. Building relationships, developing partner capabilities, and ensuring flawless execution across the businesses is important. This role also involve collaboration closely with internal and external partners to create plans and programs that scale the business and drive the adoption of the Apple ecosystem by delivering amazing customer experiences.
・Build and lead a great National Retail sales team through organizing, developing, motivating, and enabling them with the right tools and with real-time feedback. Inspire your team’s collaboration and champion a diverse and inclusive environment.
・Implement Apple’s country go-to-market plan for Japan by working with your team to decide and coordinate the funding and prioritization of partner activities in market, and managing demand generation plans. Work with the team to optimize each partnership to deliver market growth objectives.
・Drive your RTM business plans by influencing and collaborating cross-functionally with key partners to bring the best of Apple to your RTM. Work closely with your National Retail partners’ leadership to build and execute business development plans and enable their success by providing programs, training, and tools to grow their Apple business.
・Proficient in the details of your RTM’s performance and its financials, which allows you to drive high-quality outcomes. You mobilize resources for growth and delivery to drive sales activity and share status and progress with the partner and relevant Apple teams.
- Experience in leading a solutions-selling organization / country business that balanced delivering on short-term goals, while creating sustainable value for new customers and demand for the future. Or you bring 8-12 years of experience leading a Channel sales organization / managing a country-level business.
- Experience building strong and productive relationships with strategic partners and ensuring the partnerships are driving top-line revenue growth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in both Japanese and English.

Understanding how business financials work, and strategies for sustaining profitable growth, are key to staying ahead of the competition. You analyze the market and think beyond the short-term.
