Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall retail or commercial construction experience within the APAC region, of which 5 years preferred experience in ground-up high quality projects of retail, office, hospitality, civic or museum buildings
  • Required 5+ years in a cost management role at a general contractor or construction management firm
  • Experience overseeing overall project costs, bidding, vendor buy-out, cash flow, change orders, and reconciliations

Description

Facilitate content to Apple's Development team and external cost management teams on new project budgeting templates while adhering to Apple's business guidelines Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of seconded contractors' cost management based on Apple's guidelines Oversee delivery of project cost management across APAC region; with internal and external teams and critical business partners Support project bidding process, vendor evaluations, cost leveling for General Contractor and Apple's scope of work Provide guidance for project risk analyses for individual projects within APAC region Assist Design, Development, and Real Estate teams with evaluating alternate solutions and cost analyses Support cost model trends by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information from completed projects Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas for impacted projects Determine methods and procedures on projects while recommending adjustments to cost management processes and tools based on APAC region Support preparation of Leadership presentations for which Program Management Services team is involved Manage contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing of APAC region Creates formal network involving coordination amongst groups while also being able to operate independently

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline; post-graduate coursework preferred
