The People Business Partner Leader is a business partner and resource to our Retail Leadership teams. They are the ambassadors of the Talent Vision for Apple Retail. Their work is systemic and supported by the Apple People eco system, which includes Retail and Corporate Centers of Excellence. The People Business Partner Leader builds a long term talent vision and sets goals. People Business Partner Leaders orchestrate a team of specialists and partners by leveraging resources, facilitating plans and providing an aligned talent vision and voice to their Retail Director(s). They utilize a consultative approach to develop leadership capabilities and foster a culture of talent in their team and business partners.

Acts as a single point of contact for all Talent needs for the Retail Director(s) Develops and leads a Talent Strategy and Recruitment function to achieve business goals Leads, develops, and aligns a Talent Team, not all of whom will be direct reports Acts as a ’coach’ to the Talent and Leadership teams to build capability in assessment, development, and coaching Facilitates Talent Planning to ensure an ongoing talent pipeline Ensures localized development plans are in place and executed accordingly Prioritizes and implements Talent Team activities to remain globally consistent and locally relevant in order to meet business goals Leads Annual Performance Review and Total Compensation Planning process Builds strong and effective partnerships with Centers of Excellence Supports market/business group hiring strategy as needed Influences business partners to ensure talent and culture are drivers in all business decisions Partners and provides feedback, support, and direction as needed to the HR Centers of Excellence Understands and articulates Center of Excellence strategies and services to ensure effective implementation Communicates aligned Talent Team messages to the organization

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree and 7 years related HR management leadership experience is preferred
