Apple is seeking a Production Core Team Manager to join the Cork Operations team. As a member of our team, your responsibilities is to provide leadership and direction to the Core Teams, so they can achieve committed output and metrics, ensuring there is continuity across each of the different steps in the process. The successful candidate will intensely collaborate with other functions (Production, Engineering, Planning, Quality, etc) and Core Teams to ensure commitments and metrics are achieved. You will also be tasked to seek opportunities to continuously improve the process and reduce costs, in particular focus on opportunities to reduce waste (e.g. scrap, inefficiencies, duplication etc.). This role will support the Manufacturing Operation cohesion across different process areas and owners within the Core Teams. While you will receive your day to day direction and prioritisation from Operations Senior Leaders, the expectations is to operate and manage your team independently. Description

- Proven experience in Manufacturing/engineering environment. - Experience in Production Management. - Multi-functional experience (e.g. technical, operations etc..). - This role involves people management and operates on a 5-day work pattern. - Although the role is focused on Cork production, some element of travel may be necessary to support business needs. - Support New Product Introductions as required.

Education & Experience

- 3rd level/Higher qualification in Manufacturing/Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
