The Cellular Firmware team is actively looking for an experienced baseband software engineer to contribute and build Apple’s future products. Come and join us! Description
Bring up iPhone/iPad modem systems in close collaboration with other baseband teams and hardware teams.
Build, develop and optimize firmware control and adaption algorithm to improve field performance, factory yield and testability.
Making validation plan and validate the cellular firmware on different platforms.
Provide SW expertise to investigations of critical cellular firmware issues in a multi-functional HW/SW working environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- MS degree with more than 1 years’ experience in wireless software development.
- In-depth knowledge of mobile communications in 2G/3G/4G and preferably 5G mmW and sub-6.
- Strong skills in software development and debugging.

- Experience in wireless baseband systems
- Familiar with embedded system programming.
- Collaborative and creative mindset to take up challenges.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experiences with Baseband Modem technology would be a PLUS.
