We have a wonderful opportunity for an intern with the Apple Wallet and Payments Service in Japan, to help enabling and growing the expansion of our services in Japanese market. Within this Tokyo based role, you will work with cross functional teams such as business development, marketing, technical program management, business operations, as well as external parties including banks, credit card issuers, Fintech, payment network, payment service providers, and customers. You would be inspired and learn through owning tasks and contributing to the team. Key Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of the principles of business development, sales, marketing and product development
  • Critical thinking to identify and prioritize key levers to drive business, as well as the ability to persuade and engage with partners
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to identify customer struggles and needs, and prioritize key product features and communication to address those needs.
  • Strong interest in digital financial services and products

Description

- Contribute to identify customer pain points and needs, and develop solutions and deliverables - Develop business cases, manage projects and support commercial and contractual negotiations - Drive implementation of solutions, ensuring all product requirements are completed to Apple standards - Engage with and enable partners to deploy solutions with quality that meets Apple standards - Monitor the outcome of the implemented solutions to maintain outstanding service for customers and to find opportunities for partner improvements - Conduct business performance analysis, identify areas for opportunity and propose improvement plan to internal team and partners

Education & Experience

Currently enrolled in degree level education or recently graduated or from a similar education background.
