The ASE TV Engineering team is searching for a motivated Data Scientist to enhance the Apple TV app experience. Our role focuses on delivering the Apple TV app on a vast range of TVs and connected TV devices.
We are looking for a Data Scientist with expertise in streaming performance analysis and optimisation. This role focuses on data-driven approaches to enhance the performance and quality of streaming services.
Key Qualifications
- Strong background in data science, particularly in relation to streaming technologies.
- Proficient in Python and familiar with statistical tools and analysis methods.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and performance measurement tools.
- Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Description
Analyze and optimize streaming performance using data-driven methodologies.
Develop and implement CI/CD tooling for performance tracking and improvement.
Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to inform product decisions.
Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate insights into player development and streaming processes.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Relevant experience in data analysis with a focus on media streaming and performance metrics.
