This role is critical in shaping the future of Apple in France, and will impact initiatives across the entire customer journey, both direct and indirect. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the consumer technology landscape and a passion for the Apple brand, and will confidently surface and execute opportunities to help grow Apple’s business and brand in France. In partnership with the market’s Geo Lead and other Marketing/Sales peers, you will develop a deep understanding of channel, European partner dynamics and sales priorities. You will mine insights and have your finger of the pulse of the local zeitgeist in terms of partners, business, political, consumer and marketplace dynamics. You will translate these insights into opportunities and actionable briefs to partner agencies and internal creative teams. Insight and Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of the dynamics of Apple's business, the consumer technology category, our audiences, and their relationship with Apple and its products. Analyze and understand consumer journeys across our direct and indirect channels. Synthesize various inputs, including internal and third-party data sources and primary/secondary research, to construct a clear picture of the market opportunity. Opportunity Identification: Identify key opportunities to grow Apple's business in France and deepen the cultural connection with the Apple brand. Employ an always-looking mentality for opportunities within and outside of a formal planning process. Strategic Planning: Lead the development of an annual French marketing plan in cooperation with Product Marketing and PR teams. Create a plan to prioritize key opportunities and identify potential initiatives across all Apple touchpoints, acting as a tangible scope of work for the coming year. Creative Development: Write and execute initiative and creative briefs for local initiatives. Collaborate with partner agencies and act as a strategic guide for creative development. Inform briefs with necessary primary research. Strategic Leadership: Guide a multi-functional marketing team – in partnership with a Brand and Channel Lead, Corp Comms Lead, and a Product Marketing Lead – to marketing excellence in France. Additionally, function as a leader within the broader strategy and Marcom network to develop best-in-class cases that can impact Apple’s presence around Europe and the rest of the world.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven experience in marketing strategy, preferably in the consumer technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the French market and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to lead and inspire project teams.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills in both French and English.
