The Software Delivery team at Apple is at the core of the Apple software release process. We are responsible for delivering the state-of-the-art operating systems and applications to Apple customers. The Software Delivery Posting role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of Apple software to Apple customers. This includes securing software licenses to build Apple software, the archival/retrieval of source code for Apple's intellectual property review, and the posting of macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, visionOS, Xcode, Safari, and more to Apple's customers.

Description

As a Software Delivery Posting Project Manager, responsibilities include: - Coordinate Apple software postings with the requesting EPM teams, Program Management Office, Software Delivery, and Apple Services teams - Partner with engineering teams to move to a consistent process for posting Apple software, from posting and program management perspective - Manage Software Delivery compliance in support of software build operations, including software license asset management and source archival - Provide input to automate processes for posting, and audit postings to confirm automation completed per specification - Manage manual posting requests that need to occur prior to automation being implemented - Organize schedule of known Apple software updates to be posted per EPM teams - Liaison between engineering, procurement, legal, and operations team A successful Software Delivery Posting Project Manager will be expected to: - Proactively communicate status to stakeholders and follow through on time-sensitive tasks - Demonstrate willingness to ask for clarification and context to understand the "big picture" of plans and requests - Find multiple solutions to a problem, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend best approach - Mitigate risks to product schedules in partnership with cross-functional teams - Document new processes and update existing documentation pages - Eager to learn about Apple software products and schedules
