Apple's channel sales team enriches the lives of people who pick up Apple's products and services through partnerships with channel resellers and carriers. This Sales Trainer role supports "people" who guide customers to Apple products and services on the channel through various trainings and events.


・Delivery of various trainings and events ・Have an in-depth knowledge of how Apple's hardware, software, and services are integrated, and ensure that the entire training team is always up to date. ・Always keep on top of the current situation of participants and the strategies of competitors through all means, and reflect them in the information sharing within the training team as well as training deliveries. ・Provide a consistently high-quality Apple training experience in an optimal format for all needs and participant levels. The format includes face-to-face, live broadcasting, video, and other methods according to the needs. ・ Always keep the training equipment and facilities at best condition and implement improvement actions to improve quality and efficiencies. ・Provide facilitation and hands-on sessions at in-person events or online at Apple's high quality of standard. ・Development of content curriculum ・Co-design training programs and curriculums based on business and program strategies with the program managers, and develop new contents that meet various business/strategic needs in an optimal format. The format includes face-to-face, live broadcasting, video, and other methods according to the needs. ・In all training programs, identify the issues to be solved by confirming the actual behavioral changes of the participants and reflect them in the program, curriculum design, and content development. ・Ensure the accuracy of all SEED and training contents including product knowledge and soft skills provided by Apple’s Headquarter through localization reviews, and provide a consistent learning experience to participants across platforms from SEED to trainer-led trainings. ・Develop contents for hands-on sessions at events held face-to-face or online according to business and program needs and the level of participants. ・Effective relationship building ・Improve the performance of the entire training team by supporting the team to build effective collaborating environment and moving towards a common goal. ・Work together to achieve projects and goals by building sustainable relationship with all stakeholders and encouraging open dialogue and constructive discussions.

Minimum Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • Outstanding presentation, written & verbal communication, engagement and interpersonal skills (Japanese, and English as appropriate)
  • Strong, proven talent for training in both (1) classroom and in-store environment, and (2) virtual or live broadcasting
  • Proven ability to adapt to a constantly changing technology environment
  • Ability to convey technical concepts in easy to understand language
  • Video production, virtual training and live broadcasting skills and experience are essential both in front and behind the camera
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced in the various sales environments including retail, business and solutions
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching individuals to maximize performance
  • Experience in working directly with Sales
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • More than 4 years experience in training field
  • Native fluency in Japanese / English a plus
