Corporate Security Partner

You are a subject matter expert (SME) ensuring our people, assets, and sites remain secure, assessing security risks, developing internal controls for privacy, incident prevention, or proprietary information theft, and ensuring that employees are safe. In addition, the duties include but are not limited to:
Work under the direction of, and closely with, the Global Security Manager (GSM) to always improve security operations using the best business practices in risk management and physical security to prevent incidents/behaviors that could compromise the integrity of organizational security protocols
Protect the secrecy of information, assets, and projects
Prepare internal operation orders and security coordination, while being able to deliver high-quality results on a consistent basis
Partner with high-demand business units and cross-functional partners regarding security services to ensure that each assignment and the scope of work is well planned and executed
Build relationships with business unit representatives, service operations partners, and other vendors to understand the environment and special security needs for various locations and for each business group
Conduct investigations of varying types and levels of complexity
Oversee scheduling and quality work performed by the contracted guard service
Help to implement and maintain site-specific security procedures, regulations, and protocols
Analyze calls for service and incident data to better manage the security operations and predict/prevent potential risks
Prepare and maintain security records for the site and complete routine statistical data reports
Respond to and, in conjunction with the contract guard service, provide the proper response to emergency situations
Proficient with various types of security operating systems and technology
Prepare operations orders as they relate to special events and security details
Survey and recommend security improvements to each assigned business unit
Collaborate with local public safety (law enforcement, fire, and other government agencies)
Monitor and maintain timekeeping systems, records, and billing statements
Other duties as assigned
- 3+ years of corporate security operations, program management, or related-field
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays or an unstructured work schedule depending on business needs
- • Global experience is a plus
- • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships among several groups and deliver the highest level of satisfaction to Global Security's internal customers
- • Excellent communication skills, oral, presentation, and written
- • Ability to react to changes in a time-critical environment to meet security needs and quickly evaluate situations
- • Experience managing, coordinating, and maintaining multiple projects
- • The capacity to think rapidly and execute problem-solving tasks under dynamic circumstances.
- • Demonstrate excellent communication with strong attention to detail and the courage to take initiative and drive projects to completion
- • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- • Strong analytical background with a passion for data
- • Bachelor's degree preferred
