Our Camera Station DRI team is responsible for setting infrastructures in factory which brings all Apple design camera to life from the ground. We play the pivotal role to connect design to product and search every steps which can surprise millions of customers by their cameras. We are looking for a candidate being highly motivated and energetic to work with worldwide cross-functional talents to keep delivering market leading imaging experiences.

Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in consumer electronic product development & volume manufacturing
- Experience with hardware testing, calibration and test system bring up, test metrology design and validation.
- Experience with DFM (design for manufacturing) and DFT (design for test)
- Experience in image quality, camera performance characterization, camera imaging science (CCM, 3A, SFR/MTF, ISP, hot/dead pixels) and calibration
- Familiarity with Matlab digital image and signal processing or relative toolbox & Programming skills in Matlab/C/C++/Python
- Experience with large quantity data analysis and visualization with Matlab/Python/JMP
- Self-motivated, responsible, good written and verbal interpersonal skills with native fluency in Mandarin- Chinese and proficiency in English
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, highly cross-functional and fast pace environment
Description
Design, specification, development and deployment of camera calibration and test systems for Apple products. Interaction with camera design, image science, ISP, and fixture design teams on integration of calibration and test metrology to bring up camera hardware components into system products for brilliant user experience. Leadership of setting up camera testing for Apple new product introduction with manufacturing partners and vendors. Limited domestic travel is required for vendor on-site support.
In this role you will be responsible for:
-Develop and deploy for manufacturing calibration and test strategy/station in NPI cycle. Work with cross functional engineering teams and vendors to design, bring up, validate and optimize testing system (HW/SW/FW) from both technical perspective as well as manufacturing considerations
-Cooperate with camera hardware design and cross functional teams to specify and implement test coverages
-Conduct HW/SW/FW validation and FA for testing metrology, instruments, and systems by technical benchmarking (ex: Gauge R&R process)
-Generate reports for build quantity data analysis, up and down stream correlation, issue triaging, and TILs tracking. Support hardware engineering team on failure analysis and debug devices from the system level down to module and component level
-Collaborate with Design/Engineering teams on functional specs for the product and make recommendations to design and test coverage improvement
-Lead and drive vendors on build support delivery including HW and SW readiness at quality level
-Redefine existing algorithms / pipeline to optimize and balance the engineering asks and manufacturing efficiency for MP test strategy with product quality concern
Education & Experience
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
