Wallet allows you to collect your boarding passes, event tickets, coupons, and more, all in one place. It’s also the home for Apple Pay, the easiest and most convenient way to pay in stores, apps, and on the web. We are looking for an iOS Software Engineering Manager to help lead the development of exciting Wallet and Apple Pay features.
Description
You are a trustworthy and capable manager who can lead great software engineers & managers, develop them appropriately, and guide them to work together to deliver amazing products for our customers.
You will instill an inclusive team culture, and grow the team while maintaining world-class excellence and diversity. You will also provide technical direction, balancing product and foundational engineering work with a strong focus on design and quality.
As part of your role you will mentor junior team members, and support your team's career growth whilst collaborating extensively with cross-functional partners acrosss the US and Europe.
Minimum Qualifications
- Years of experience managing software engineering teams, ideally as part of a larger engineering organization
- Significant experience developing and architecting iOS software
- Strong Swift and/or Objective-C skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Past exposure to financial tech, payments, or open banking products
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of test-driven development
- Experience working with server and back-end teams to define and deliver specifications
